There are 150+ reasons to choose Yale Summer Session. We offer the Yale College curriculum in the summer and full residential program too. Take courses in STEM, humanities, arts, acting, and social sciences either in-person or online. Whether you need to pick up a course to meet a requirement at your home university, or just want to explore a new subject, Yale Summer Session has lots of options to choose from.
Our residential program includes living in the housing that Yale students live in and eat in during the academic year. We call them the “Summer Colleges”. Yale students serve as your residential counselors, living alongside you, and a Summer Head of College and Residential Directors also make up your residential team. They plan activities and trips as part of the residential program.
Yale Summer Session will give a 20% tuition discount to students from an IARU university.

For students wishing to attend in-person
Once you are admitted, and receive an email regarding submitting vaccination and immunization records, you should begin that process immediately. All visitors to the Yale campus must submit immunization records by a deadline. Any delay in submitting your immunization records could cause you to have to cancel your in-person registration to the Yale Summer Session.
