Novo Nordisk International Talent Program
University of Copenhagen and the Danish medical company Novo Nordisk developed the Novo Nordisk International Talent Program (NNITP) – a scholarship programme designed to attract international talent and to support talented students in gaining an international study experience as part of their degree programmes. The programme was an example of how universities and industry can collaborate to allow for resources, knowledge and competencies to come together to benefit both parties.
NNITP was established in 2015, and Novo Nordisk Ltd donated up to DKK 5 million annually towards the programme.
Novo Nordisk International Talent Program supported student mobility between UCPH and IARU partner universities. The programme covered a range of select academic fields pertaining to metabolism, insulin, haemoglobin, obesity, big data or digitalization.

The programme concluded in 2024 and no new awards will be offered.
