UC Berkeley Summer Sessions offers more than 600 classes each summer over seven different sessions. The first session usually begins end of May, and all sessions end mid-August. More than 16,000 students attend UC Berkeley in the summer, and nearly 4,000 of those are visitors. IARU students are invited to participate in Berkeley Summer Sessions classes and receive a waiver of the international service fee.
Besides open enrollment, several options are available to visiting students including summer-only certificates, English as a Second Language, online courses, and pre-college programs for high school students.
Enrollment/applications open in February.
