Internship Description:
INTERSECT is a vibrant academic community fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across the realms of arts, humanities, social sciences, and design. Our research focuses on the dynamic interplay of cities, landscapes, and communities, with a particular emphasis on addressing issues of inequality and justice. At INTERSECT, we not only study intersections but also embody them in our approach to research and collaboration.
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the expansion and enhancement of our community while elevating our public profile. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to devise and implement strategies for engaging with our existing community members, attracting new collaborators, and effectively communicating the mission and impact of INTERSECT to a wider audience.

- Henriette Steiner, Associate Professor, Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management
Program Method:
In-person candidates will be prioritized, however, online would be possible.
Funding:
$3,000 USD – covers travel and accommodation costs. Office space is provided.
Duration:
2-8 weeks from August-December 2024 – specific dates to be agreed on.
